In 2011, Lavazza achieved its goal of serving 1,000,000 consistently perfect cups of coffee, offering the over 500,000 fans attending the tournament products ranging from real Italian coffee to coffee-based specialties and cold products. If all of Lavazza’s serving areas at Wimbledon were combined, they would form the world’s largest premium coffee shop, staffed by over 600 baristas trained directly by the Lavazza Training Center, the world’s largest school dedicated to spreading the culture of espresso.
Lavazza will once again be the official coffee of the 2012 edition of The Championships, Wimbledon. All attendees of the British tennis tournament par excellence will have the chance to savour the aroma of real Italian coffee, represented by Lavazza throughout the world.
