Founded in 1947 by several photographers including Robert Capa and Henri Cartier-Bresson, Magnum
Photos is one of the world’s top photography agencies.
Its structure allows its photographers great freedom, and encourages the expression of
original creative talents and individual characteristics.
Magnum photographers are famous for having produced some of the most important reportages of recent decades, documenting wars, natural disasters and social events, but also aspects of society that are not covered by traditional journalism.
