ILARIA GIBERTINI

Born on 30 January 1970 in Parma, she studied communications and design at the Università del Progetto in Reggio Emilia, where she collaborated on projects entrusted to the university’s in-house design workshop by companies such as Barilla, Lagostina, Max Mara, and Comix.

Her works have been featured in a variety of exhibitions and accepted for entry in international design competitions, including: “La Fabbrica Estetica: la dernière génération du design italien” (Paris, 1993); “Biennale dei giovani artisti dell’Europa e del Mediterraneo” (Rome, 1999); “The New Italian Design” (Milan, 2007).

Since 1993 she has worked on a freelance basis, alternating design projects with graphics.

She has worked for Artista Visitatore, Coop, Gruppo Coin, Lavazza, Mandarina Duck, Nemo (Cassina), Outlook Zelco, Pantone Universe - Le vie del cotone, Rosenthal and United Pets.

She describes her work as follows: “My work tends to see-saw, ranging from a position oscillating between product design and graphic design. I try to be as light and flexible as possible so that I can fly seamlessly and harmoniously from one field to the other.”
